Radius will be participating as a featured exhibitor at the Museum of Arts and Design‘s (MAD) upcoming exhibition Sonic Arcade: Shaping Space with Sound. This exhibition will be taking place at MAD in New York City from September 14, 2017 until February 25, 2018. It will include a gallery installation of Radius, a six month long radio broadcast of the entire Radius Episode Archive from inside the museum, and an installation of Radius’ new series BEACON with two new commission works by artists Deborah Stratman and Anna Friz.
Radius has designed a special program for every day of the exhibition. Each Radius episode will be featured for a full day. Additionally, the schedule includes broadcasts from Radius collaborators at Wave Farm and partner programs by the Free Music Archive, KUNSTRADIO, Lumpen Radio 105.5-FM, radioCONA, NUMBERS.FM, Radio Revolten, Skálar | Sound Art | Experimental Music, Soundcamp, ∏-node, and additional material from the Radius Library Archive.
