This exhibition features the print portfolio Social In/Justice, organized by Benjamin D. Rinehart in 2014. The portfolio centers on unfair acts, inequalities, and restrictions to individuals or groups of people. Each artist was asked to react to and personalize challenges to societal norms. Artists Kimberly Paul Arp, Brandon Bauer, Lisa Bigalke, Jim Bryant, Karla Hackenmiller, Nicole Hand, Melissa Harshman, Anita Jung, Brian Kelly, Traci Molloy, Nancy Palmeri, Kristin Powers Nowlin, Benjamin D. Rinehart, Lyle J. Slami, and Melanie Yassi address issues relating to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, economic status and politics. These artists use their prints to promote discourse and bring attention to marginalized groups.

Gallery Talk, Leech Gallery, September 18, 6 p.m.
Benjamin Rinehart, Associate Professor of Art at Lawrence University, and Brandon Bauer, Assistant Professor of Art at St. Norbert College, will speak about organizing and creating prints for the Social In/Justice portfolio.
