Last chance to see “In Concert with Jen de los Reyes” at Co-Prosperity

Tommorow is the last opportunity to see the exhibition “In Concert with Jen de los Reyes“, the first mid-career retrospective of this influential social practice artist, organizer, and educator.

This retrospective exhibition, organized by Anthony Stepter, Astria Suparak and Nick Wylie, illuminates more than twenty years of artmaking, organizing, writing, and teaching by Jen de los Reyes. Through careful consideration of her life and career, patterns emerge that connect Reyes’s work to broader social contexts and art movements.

Included in the exhibition is the first public display of the “Disappearing Birds of North America: 389 Birds on the Verge of Extinction” project, a multi-faceted project with 389 artists and designers that I contributed to. It is exciting to see this project have it’s first public display!

Disappearing Birds of North America project at Co-prosperity Sphere in Chicago.

To see the exhibition visit Co-Prosperity 3219 South Morgan Street Chicago, the gallery will be open until 9pm tomorrow!
