The Euromissiles Crisis Portfolio Suite is a portfolio of twenty-two images creating a historical narrative of the Euromissiles Crisis and the nuclear abolition movement that arose in response to the crisis from 1977-1987. The nuclear abolition movement of this era, a movement that inspired the largest single-issue political demonstration in American history, is often overlooked in the history of social movements. The portfolio references cultural, political, and activist events of the era, and serves as an allegory of citizen involvement, as well as the power of everyday people within the political process.
All Images: Spray acrylic stencil and photocopy transfer on paper, 8.5″ x 11″. An edition of four unique multiple portfolios was produced. (2013)
